Our jewellery is crafted using components primarily produced by local artisans in India and various North, West and East African countries.

By wearing our jewellery, our clients are not just adorning themselves with exquisite pieces - they are also supporting local communities by providing a vital source of income for these regions.

 

2.Responsible Material Sourcing:

Our dedication to sustainability is reflected in our choice of materials.

For instance, we proudly incorporate Ebony wood (Diospyros crassiflora) components  produced in Ghana.

These components are supplied by certified companies dedicated to responsible practices.

 By doing so, we actively combat illegal logging, which poses a significant threat to the preservation of Diospyros crassiflora.

 

3. Mindful Use of Animal Products:

Some of our  jewellery includes beads and parts made from buffalo/cow horn, bones, and leather, all of which are sourced as byproducts from  local food industry. While we cannot change the fact that animals are used as a source of protein, we strive to minimise waste by repurposing these materials into beautiful jewellery pieces.

This not only reduces environmental impact but also provides local artisans with essential income opportunities.

 

4. Reducing Synthetic Mass Production:

We strive to minimise the use of mass-produced synthetic components and incorporate vintage parts sourced from charity shops and flea markets. Though it may seem small, these efforts contribute to our planet's well-being, one piece at a time.

 

5. Slow Fashion Advocates:

We are advocates of Slow Fashion, and the majority of our jewellery components are crafted in small artisan workshops before being assembled in our London studio. We price our pieces with longevity in mind, encouraging them to be cherished rather than discarded.
