Collection: Notes of Shanghai

It is undeniable that Shanghai in the 1920s and 30s, dubbed 'Old Shanghai' by the Chinese, epitomized the most glamorous and stylish aspects of China in the last century, on par with Paris. You could be a cosmopolitan Parisian or Londoner, but you were simply not chic enough if you had not been to Shanghai. It was called the 'Adventurers' Paradise' by expats and Westerners of the time.

Rich Art Deco mixed with traditional Chinese architecture, celebrity gossip, complicated romances, design, and technology—the glamour of 'Old' Shanghai inspired us for this collection.
